Yes. We create no user accounts, collect no personal information, and store no data on our servers. Everything -- your sobriety date, mood entries, conversations, and wellness data -- is stored locally on your device only.
You can reset your sobriety date from the app's home screen. Tap on your sobriety date or the settings icon, then select the option to update your start date. Your previous tracking data will be replaced with the new date.
Since all data is stored on your device, deleting the app will permanently remove all your data, including your sobriety date, conversation history, and wellness tracking. This data cannot be recovered.
Recovery Agent Plus is our premium subscription that unlocks unlimited Recovery Agent conversations and voice input/output features. You can subscribe monthly ($6.99/mo) or annually ($49.99/yr). Free users get up to 5 Recovery Agent messages per day.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
No. The Recovery Agent is designed to provide supportive conversation and encouragement, but it is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychologist, or medical professional. It should not replace professional treatment or medical care.
Since Recovery Agent stores data locally on your device, your data may transfer automatically when you restore from a device backup (such as iCloud or Google backup). However, we cannot guarantee data transfer between devices.
Try closing and reopening the app, or restarting your device. If the issue persists, make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If you still need help, contact us at info@gtanow.net with a description of the issue.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or your local emergency services.
